JOBO, the Youth Cultural Pass, is an initiative launched by Madrid City Council to foster access to culture among young people aged 16 to 26. It’s a way to create new audiences and foster awareness and critical thinking in regard to the performing arts, music and the living arts featured in the programmes of the city’s various public institutions: Naves de Matadero, Teatro Español, Teatro Fernán Gómez, Teatro Circo Price, Cineteca film archive and our own institution, Conde Duque Cultural Centre.
The only requirement to obtain a pass, apart from being between the ages of 16 and 26, is to be registered as a resident of the city of Madrid and to sign up on this website.
With JOBO, tickets will be completely free of charge and each pass holder will be entitled to a single ticket per person for each scheduled event.
The cultural pass excludes events scheduled for weekends as well as shows and events which, although they may be held at one of the municipal institutions, are not part of the programme of the Department of Culture and Sport or the programmes of the cultural centres themselves.
