The exhibition Intermedios. La cultura escénica en el primer tercio del siglo XX español (Intervals, Spanish performing arts in the first third of the 20th century), organised by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and Madrid City Council, reflects from a modern day perspective on the genres of the Spanish performing arts of the early 20th century, between 1900 and 1936.

The project is developed through more than 400 exhibits, that allow us to explore the performing arts culture of that time and its leading figures: actresses, dancers and singers, actors, flamenco dancers, artists, set designers and stage directors, film directors, special effects designers, circus artists, set designers, puppeteers, etc.
